With over 40 years of experience, Stav has a distinguished track record of driving business growth, fostering strategic partnerships, and optimising sales strategies to achieve measurable and sustainable success.

Throughout a diverse career, Stav has founded, managed, and developed businesses across multiple industries, including Recruitment, IT, technical systems, security, hospitality, parcel delivery, and aluminium manufacturing, and properties in UK and Overseas. Additionally, Stav has served as a Non-Executive Director in various companies, providing strategic oversight and leadership.

As the Director of Global Collaboration UK Ltd, Stav spearheads the Glyv500 Program, a specialised sales optimisation initiative that enhances sales processes within just three months — helping businesses save time, reduce costs, and acquire high-value clients with consistency.

In July 2024, Stav was appointed Vice-Chair of the Institute of Directors (IoD) for Lincolnshire and Rutland, where he plays a key role in strengthening member engagement and expanding the organisation's presence within the region.

James started his legal career in London with Clifford-Turner before becoming a partner at Birmingham-based Needham & James, which later became part of DLA. As founder of two innovative regulated law firms, he brings hands-on practical experience of the challenges of business growth. His expertise in mergers, acquisitions, and private equity has enabled him to successfully guide numerous start-ups, early-stage ventures, and established businesses through complex transitions. James now operates as a non-practising solicitor through his business advisory and legal consultancy, Everyman Advisory Limited.
James combines his legal expertise with a strategic mindset, ensuring clients receive practical, results-focused advice that reflect what is important to his clients personally. His approach is centred on building strong partnerships, fostering growth, and achieving sustainable success.

In addition to his professional work, James has served as a trustee of a number of charities in the past including as a co-founder of Sofie Enterprises established during the “madness of lockdown” in 2020. The mission of this Society of Independent Enterprise is to teach novel methods of exit planning and to be part of a collaborative community of professionals providing fellowship to owner-managers on their journey to exit from their own enterprises.

He now lives with his family on a small farm in beautiful North Pembrokeshire where he volunteers his time to local charities and not for profit organisations including the local chamber of trade and tourism where he is a director. He makes regular monthly visits to Oxfordshire to see clients and to co-host Sofie’s 1845 Connect Supper Club.
